After a gunshot on Sunday evening in East Granby, police are investigating the "suspicious deaths" of two people
According to the reports, gunshots are heard at an address on Wynding Hills Road in East Granby
The incident occurred at approximately 5:54 p.m. on Wynding Hills
Troopers in Hartford reported that they had received 911 phone calls gunshots for the sound of gunshots
The neighbour Alex Fortes said, “I did hear a gunshot or two. I was on the back deck grilling and I heard a gunshot. Didn’t think anything of it, just figured it was at the gun range.”
Two adults, a man, and a woman, were discovered dead from apparent gunshot wounds when troopers and local police arrived at the scene
Police have not yet announced the identity of the two victims
Troopers stated that the two deaths are "suspicious" based on the initial findings of the investigators
This investigation has been taken over by the Central District Major Crime Squad
There is now no threat to the public, according to the police
